Meghan Dineen (Co-Producer)
Meghan is a native Long Islander whose current habitat is that of Brooklyn. When she’s not riding the F train or catching rays in Prospect Park, she can be found, camera in hand, trying to make magic happen. A graduate of NYU’s Gallatin School of Individualized Study with a degree in storytelling, (yes for real, storytelling!), Meghan has always strived to construct narratives out of the world around her. When she’s not snapping pics or cutting vids, she can be found, cold beer in hand, telling tons of stories about her clumsy, messy life. One day she strives to have the courage to tell her stories on stage like those at Yum’s. But for now, she’ll stick to the videos. Her favorite ice cream flavor is chocolate chocolate chip.
Alex Fulton (Podcast Co-Producer/Editor & Recording Engineer)
Born to a nomadic tribe, Alex spent his formative years learning to adapt to various North American climates. On his 18th birthday, as is customary in such cultures, he set out on his own to learn all that he could in a field of his choosing. But bear wrestling didn't pan out the way he had envisioned. After one too many mishaps, he opted for a (slightly) tamer career path in audio engineering. Now as a Music Producer for NYC's beloved Storefront Music, he spends his days collaborating with other wild men and women in the creation of sweet tasty jams. His favorite ice cream flavor is black raspberry.
Michael Ian Cedar (Front Door Dude)
Michael got his start in the crazy world of entertainment as a Bar Mitzvah Emcee in New Jerseyl He moved on to see if road life was crazier. (Which it is!). Tour Management of bus and truck shows “Fiddler on the Roof,” “Thoroughly Modern Millie,” “Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoast,” “Arthur Live,” and “She Loves You.”
He currently co-produces dance competitions across the country, hosting over 25,00 young performers a year. His passion for entertainment, business and leadership have brought him on the journey of a lifetime, and his favorite ice cream flavor is Salted Caramel.
Danny Artese (Mad Libs Man, Ice Cream Cake Cutter)
Danny grew up in Southern California not far from where Sweet Valley High would be, but has lived in New York City long enough to be a New Yorker according to Carrie Bradshaw. In addition to doing pretty well with the Entertainment category in Trivial Pursuit, he co-hosts the storytelling show “A Very Special Episode.” His favorite ice cream flavor is one that’s fruity without nuts or caramel or Cherry Garcia.
Carly Petrone (Social Media Machine - Live Events)
Carly should really check herself into a social media addiction center. She eats, drinks, and sleeps with her phone in order to capture the perfect Instagram photo (and witty caption). As the lucky winner of inheriting the last name Petrone (pronounced like Patron tequila), she finds herself confusing bartenders when it’s time to close out her tab.
It was her love for comedy and SNL that brought her to New York City from California - she fully admits to stalking the cast outside of 30 Rock at two in the morning. As a lifestyle & culture writer for CBS Local, she gets paid to eat and drink her way through NYC. This has led to a somewhat unhealthy diet, but that’s what filters are for right? #bringontheicecreamcakes? Her favorite ice cream flavor is Peanut Butter & Chocolate.
Katie Riley (Guest Experience Go-To)
By day, Katie manages a global network of young activists at She's the First, a nonprofit organization that promotes gender equality through education. She's an active member of New York's nonprofit community and was recognized as the Young Nonprofit Professionals Network's 2014 Nonprofiteer of the Year. By night, Katie is a casual calligrapher, politics junkie, and lover of a great story.
She brings her event production (and cake-slicing) talents to Yum's the Word as a member of the live show team. Katie is a forever-southern-gal and a proud graduate of the University of Tennessee. Her favorite ice cream flavor is Ben & Jerry's Mint Chocolate Cookie or any kind of vanilla over a warm slice of her Grandma's blueberry cobbler. You can chase her across the internet at @heykatieriley.
Liz McCauley (Videographer/Editor)
Liz McCauley is a videographer, editor and animator hailing from northern Virginia, a land known for its rolling hills and forests, exorbitant number of parking lots, and residents who insist they live in D.C. Naturally, Liz moved to New York City just 10 days after graduating from the University of Virginia in 2017. Nowadays, she resides in Brooklyn, where she spends most of her spare time running in Prospect Park, eating Dough donuts (it's one block away!) and watching lots of YouTube videos to figure out how the heck After Effects works.
Her dream is to use animations and motion graphics to enhance documentary storytelling. Her favorite ice cream flavor is anything involving peanut butter. Check out her digital media portfolio here and follow her on Twitter @ElizMcLovin.
